Update:

I think I am pretty much settled with all my venues. The reception hall, the photographer, the band and the cake. Oh, and most important the dress!!! From here on out it will be the little things that I need to start worrying about. Invitations, food selection for the reception, bridesmaid dresses, tuxedos, ect...

A few weeks ago Stephen and I went to our cake tasting. Delicious! We decided on strawberries and cream for the wedding cake (bride's cake aka mine) and chocolate with chocolate mousse for the groom's cake. I also sent out my save the date magnets and I've received many compliments on them. they were pretty cute ya know. :0)

Only 9 more months to go. :0)

I apologize that it has been a while since I last updated everyone. School started this week and I've been a little busy. Let's see I already mentioned the reception (Austin Country Club), photographer (Sherry Hammonds) and now we have a florist: Stephanie Barro with Bouquets of Austin. I am very excited to be working with her. Many friends and co-workers have recommended her and she had so many wonderful ideas when we met. Now we are looking into bands and then finding someone to make the wedding cake and groom's cake. Oh, I alomost forgot me and one of my bridesmaids went to look for bridesmaid dresses. I think we may have a winner. Stay tuned!

Just a few updates. We have the date set July 18, 2009 at our church, Triumphant Love Lutheran Church. Reception to follow at Austin Counrty Club. Next week we are meeting with a florist who comes highly recommended: Stephanie Barro from Bouquets of Austin. I am very excited to see what she has to offer and what ideas she can come up with.

Well that's all for now. I will begin pursuing a DJ and cake place soon; however I am heading to Vegas soon for a much needed vacation with my sweetie, Stephen. Then I will begin my search for the perfect dress. Wish me luck!

I can't beleive I'm finally getting married! Stephen proposed on June 10, 2008 while we were out on one of our "Date Nights." Of course I said. YES!
